As well as the Control sample, the program also features the following flavours: – Buttery (Diacetyl) – Butyric – Cereal/Malty (Malty-biscuity) – Coconut (Whisky Lactone) – Floral (Geraniol) – Fruity/Estery (Isoamyl acetate) – Green/Grassy (Acetaldehyde) – Musty – Medicinal – Smoky – Spicy – Vanilla – Sulphury/Rotten Vegetable – Sulphury/Rubbery (Leathery) Regular calibration uses FlavorActiV‘s proprietary proficiency software and Pharmaceutical Quality GMP Flavour Standards to benchmark, troubleshoot and develop individual tasting abilities. The Whisky Open Proficiency Program involves 1 calibration pack received quarterly. Testing packs will be IN / OUT scheme, which tests the ability to identify defects outside of product quality specification. Once the tasting is complete, you need to log your results on our Whisky Open Proficiency Program TVS2 platform. Identify your strengths and weaknesses and hone your skills to track your improvement over time. The Whisky Open Proficiency Program engine is mobile friendly and can be accessed anywhere in the world. Certification is received for all participants who successfully complete the program.
