Cause of Flavour
This flavour reference standard is provided as a control sample for training and during sensory proficiency testing.
It allows a reference standard of the beverage to be treated the same as other flavour standard spiked products.
By adding a control sample you are ensuring that you are treating all sample equally. Any carbonation loss due to the introduction of powder will be the same for all samples.
This flavour standard is useful in helping your sensory panel detect when a product should be the correct specification and has no defects.
